Objectives
Process and Technology Improvement Grants: The purpose of these grants is to support efforts by State agencies and their community-based and faith-based partners to develop and implement projects that focus on improving the quality and efficiency of SNAP operations and processes. FY2022 grantees focus on one or more of the following priority areas: 1) Utilize technology-based tools to expand enrollment of underserved populations; 2) Aid in the transition from pandemic operations and improve disaster response operations; or 3) Modernize SNAP customer service, client communication, and administrative processes to improve accessibility, transparency, and responsiveness.
