Objectives
The purpose of the HRSA National Organizations of State and Local Officials (NOSLO) cooperative agreement is to support technical assistance, promotion of best practices, and innovative solutions to emerging and ongoing national health priorities such as communicable disease prevention and suppression, childhood obesity, substance use disorders and/or mental health. By promoting collaboration and partnership among major stakeholder organizations representing state and local public health officials and other HRSA award recipients, this cooperative agreement helps develop and promote public and private sector strategies to improve access to quality services and help to build a skilled health workforce, key tenets of HRSA??s mission and in support of the Secretary??s key principles of service and sustainability.
