The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act requires the Office of Management and Budget, in consultation with Department of the Treasury, the Council of Economic Advisers, and the Small Business Administration, to issue quarterly reports to Congress and the public on the economic impact of certain coronavirus funds. These challenges illustrate the most significant areas the Office of Inspector General (OIG) believes need improvement for the Peace Corps to effectively manage its resources and minimize the potential for fraud, waste, and abuse occurring in its operations.
