PRAC Chair Michael E. Horowitz testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Accountability Government Operations and the Federal Workforce Subcommittee in a hearing titled, “Where Do We Go from Here? Examining a Path Forward to Assess Agencies’ Efforts to Prevent Improper Payments and Fraud,” to discuss what can be done to improve program integrity and ensure funding goes to the individuals and businesses it was intended to help.

Horowitz testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Emerging Threats and Spending Oversight Subcommittee in a hearing titled, “Examining Federal COVID-Era Spending and Preventing Future Fraud,” to discuss our work conducting oversight of the $5 trillion in pandemic relief funding and how the Pandemic Analytics Center of Excellence uses data intelligence to fight fraud and improper payments.
