The American Rescue Plan (ARP) provides an additional $1.9 trillion in pandemic response and relief funding. Consistent with White House ARP implementation efforts, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC) share a common goal of fastidious oversight of ARP funds on behalf of the American taxpayers. Horowitz, Chair of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC) announced the public release of an updated dataset of Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) spending by states, eligible local governments, Tribal governments, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Territories. PRAC Releases Additional Coronavirus Relief Fund Data

Today, Michael E. Horowitz, Chair of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC) announced the public release of additional data for Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) spending. This CRF dataset now contains information from 35 prime recipients, including 32 states, on their sub-recipients’ spending down to the project level. These prime recipients delaying reporting to use an automated web tool instead of submitting manually due to their volume of sub-recipients. Michael E. Horowitz Appointed Chair of CIGIE’s Pandemic Response Accountability Committee

Today, Allison C. Lerner, Chair of the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE), announced the appointment of Michael E. Horowitz, Inspector General of the Department of Justice, to serve as the Chair of CIGIE’s Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC).
